FAQ – Reformer Pilates explained
Good to know.
General
What is Reformer Pilates?
Reformer Pilates is a dynamic full-body workout performed on the reformer using springs and pulleys. The training combines controlled movements with targeted resistance and helps strengthen your muscles, improve your posture, increase your mobility and strengthen your core.
Is Pilates suitable for beginners?
Yes, absolutely! Pilates is suitable for every level – even if you've never done Pilates before. Our classes are designed so that you can train at your own pace and progress step by step.
Do I need to be sporty or particularly flexible?
No! Pilates suits different fitness levels and physical conditions. Whether you want to improve your mobility, strengthen your muscles or simply do something good for yourself – you're very welcome with us.
Can I come to Reformer Pilates on my own?
Absolutely! Many of our clients come on their own at first. You're always welcome, whether you start with a friend, a partner or by yourself.
We care a lot about an open and supportive community where everyone feels comfortable. Our classes are the perfect way to meet like-minded people, chat and enjoy moving together. New connections and friendships often grow from there.
Pilates classes
What should I bring to my first Pilates class?
All you need is comfortable workout clothes and grip socks. You can also buy them at the studio if needed. And of course: bring your good mood!
How long is a Pilates class?
Our Pilates classes last 50 minutes. During this time we focus on controlled movement, mindful breathing and targeted strengthening of your muscles.
How often should I do Pilates?
That depends entirely on your personal goals and your everyday life. Just one or two sessions a week can help you build a regular routine. Most importantly, you should feel good and enjoy moving.
Can I do Reformer Pilates without any experience on the machine?
Yes, of course! Our trainers explain the machine and guide you through the exercises step by step. They're with you throughout the whole class, so you always feel safe and well looked after.
Bookings & policies
How do I book a Pilates class?
Simply via our website or the bsport app. Because we deliberately keep our classes small, we recommend booking your preferred class in good time.
What is your cancellation and no-show policy?
Our cancellation period is 12 hours. If you cancel your booking at least 12 hours before the class starts, you keep your class credit. If you cancel later or don't show up, the credit is forfeited.
